Justice Calling by Palmer Chinchen
Justice Calling
Product Description
Palmer Chinchen is an author, speaker, and pastor. He was raised in Liberia. Currently, he is the Lead Pastor of The Grove, a missional church in Phoenix, Arizona. From "Palmer speaks widely on issues of justice, spiritual transformation, and a Christian response to affliction and poverty."

Justice Calling is a book that I believe will get you either motivated or irritated. The author starts off by saying things like we should be embracing immigrants and marching with those who are a part of Black Lives Matter. Chinchen continues on by explaining that social justice is about being for the least, just as Jesus is. One social justice matter that struck a chord many years ago is the Underground Railroad.
Chinchen wants everyone to find their justice calling. In this book, he lays out the five stages of spiritual growth that people are believed to go through in their quest to love God and others to their fullest extent.
I feel reading Justice Calling can really get you thinking about where you are on your spiritual journey. I am glad I read it, as it is a great reminder that doing for others is what all Christians should be praticing. The author approaches hot topics head on, which some may or may not appreciate. By the end of the book, you will understand why Chinchen feels we should embracing immigrants and marching with those who are part of Black Lives Matter. I would recommend checking out Justice Calling if you want to be challenged in the way you look at the life God has given you and at people that He puts in your path. I received a free copy of this book from Howard Books in exchange for my honest review.
