When the kids walked in, they got their picture taken as a scuba diver for their take home journal.

The treasure chest is an egg box with brown paper over it. An extra piece of cardboard was added to the top, the small side flaps were cut to fit.

The coral is made from oatmeal boxes with shipping peanuts hot glued to it and then spray painted.

All the Bubbles were made with a small plastic cup dipped in white paint and put on the wall.

The painted floor murals were made by using a transparency to draw the scene on large pieces of cardboard.

This blow fish is made from a white paper plate.

The undersea plants were made from pool noodles. The blue sea sponge is a cleaning sponge. The sand is packing paper.

 This turtle is made from a green paper plate turned inside out.

The jellyfish are made from muffin tin paper, crepe paper, and ribbon.

The craft room was not the deep sea. The inner tube kid was made from stuffing stockings and attaching then to a pair of swim trunks attached to an inner tube.VBS Ideas For Underwater Theme

The journaling rooms were undersea labs in a sub. 
An old Nemo calendar was used for the fish in the portal.

Every year the same guy does a wonderful job making the props for the stage in the sanctuary.
